Preheat the oven to 325˚. Trim the excess fat and skin from the ham. Insert the meat thermometer in the thickest part of the ham (do not touch bone). Place in a shallow roasting pan and bake for 2 hours. Combine the preserves, lemon juice, and ground cloves and brush onto the ham. Garnish with pineapple and cherries. Return to the oven to bake until the thermometer reaches 140˚. Serves 12 to 15.

INDIVIDUAL HAM CASSEROLES

1 egg, beaten

2 ½ cups cooked corn bread, crumbled

¼ cup water

2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

1 cup frozen or canned mixed vegetables

1 small onion, grated

1 cup catsup (optional)

2 cups cooked and cubed ham

Grated sharp Cheddar cheese
